The new skatepark is located at the Creston & District Community Complex and ties in seamlessly to the newly developed space and adjacent recreational amenities. The park’s design was inspired by the distinct aesthetic of it’s natural surroundings including the integration of skateable faux rock walls and banks. The multi-tiered bowl provides 3 sections of varying depths, multiple hips, bowled corners, extension and escalating pocket. The linear street section offers riders a balanced mix of transition and obstacles including flatbars, ledges, a-frame wedge and ledge, drops, hubba, manual pads and flat ledges. The park’s finishing details are immaculate and the park is yet another great additional of ridable infrastructure in the Kootenay region.
