DESIGN TEAM
Skatepark Designer
Position: Skatepark Designer
Salary range: To be determined based on experience plus bonus potential
Summary: Skatepark Designers are responsible for the successful delivery of skatepark and landscape design projects as part of a project design team. This includes concept and technical design development; management of clients (internal and external); quality and cost control of projects and supporting construction implementation. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 3-5 years of Skatepark specific conceptual and detailed design experience with strong communication abilities to collaborate with both internal and external project stakeholders (ie. Municipal staff, advocacy groups, user groups, civil/structural engineers and landscape architects.
Criteria
Knowledge & Skill: Proficient in Autocad, Lumion, Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Word and Excel. Knowledge of Civil 3D is an asset.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of industry related experience (Landscape Architecture, Architecture, or Civil Engineering Design desired but not necessary. Portfolio of work strongly recommended.
Education: Industry based degree (Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Civil Engineering Diploma desired but not necessary)
