The 15,000 sqft Fire Station Park Skate Plaza and Pump Track was designed and built in close collaboration with funding contributor, Dickies, whose headquarters reside nearby in Fort Worth. The park boasts a wide range of authentic street and plaza obstacles complimented by a sate of the art integrated concrete pump track. A thoughtful layout and inclusive approach to the park program provides appeal to riders of every level and discipline. The “plaza” is a street skater’s dream with a variety of urban architecture such as ledges, hubbas, stairs, banks and hips. Adjacent, the flowing concrete pump track offers an endless circuit of berms, transitions, and rollers to ride through and maintain speed without pushing. Embedded branding through project steel and concrete works, along with integrated planters and landscaping creates a vibrant social space for the local community and visitors to meet, interact and recreate.
