Designed and constructed in 2002, VicWest has become a symbol of success when civic officials and community members work together.  Originally awarded as a redesign-build, the park consists of 2 distinct phases (Phase 1 – 2002, Phase 2 – 2017) featuring an expansive selection of modern street/obstacle terrain + 2 flow bowls (one open, and one fully enclosed).  Each phase was developed through a significant public process consisting of onsite events, public open houses, and online surveys.
