The northern British Columbia town of Mackenzie is home to a ~9,000 sqft skatepark. In addition to being a very functional park, it salutes the region's wildlife within the obstacles.
Several large animals native to the Mackenzie area are referenced: there is a cut-out of wandering bears, running wolves, and moose antlers. There are also two 'bear print' rock manny pads.
There is a 5 foot deep bowl with a 6 foot curved extension, plenty of ledges, rails, quarter pipes, banks, and stairs. We've also installed some of our custom 'skate benches' for spectators or park users who want to take a break.
The park is located at the Mackenzie Recreation Centre, 400 Skeena Drive.
