The residents of the central Alberta town of Drayton Valley have been waiting a few years for a park to call their own. Now they can do just that with this 9,300 sqft skatepark.
As far as parks go, this one has it all (and then some): open mini-bowl, stairs, manny pads, ledges, hips, rails, and gaps. The "fun track" is definitely this park's signature feature. It enables users to whip through two corners of the park, pumping over two bumps to pick up as much speed as they dare.
The Drayton Valley Skatepark is located on the site of the old HW Pickup School, at 4804 44 Street.
